Meet Our Vendors!

Hello! My name is Michelle Krut and together with my husband Kevin, and son Charlie; we are A Collector’s Attic! Being avid collectors ourselves, we started our business almost 17 years ago after looking to downsize our own ever expanding collection. We are currently located on the first floor at The Shops at Riverton and also within the Salmon Brook Shops in Granby, CT and now at Shops at New Hartford. In addition to the two Brick and Mortar locations, we are regular vendors on Hertans field at the Brimfield Antique Flea Market and participate in the May, July, and September shows. Antiques, Collectibles, and a love of their history as been always been part of our family as my Grandfather once owned his own Antique store and some of my earliest memories are “antiquing” together with him. Our family loves spending time together visiting new locations and learning the history of all the great items we bring back to you!

We are a family of creators. We are keeping the makers alive, saving antiquities, creating new ones & repurposing others. Our passion for creating and crafting has turned into a fun business.
Now I am the dreamer and doer instead of just thinking and dreaming about what I could be doing. I like to bring joy to others lives and homes through our creations and treasures!

Arolyn's Cottage is full of bottles, yarn and flowers. I love to create!
Bottles ~There’s a variety of hand painted aromatherapy glass bottles waiting for you to fill with something gorgeous smelling. The roller bottles have gemstone rollerballs cause since the outside is painted, she needs her jewelry on top! The square small bottles have gemstones inside. All are labeled on the bottom with which gemstone. There are perfume, dropper, cream, lotion/soap bottles.
The art work on the bottles comes from a love of gardens and the ocean. Why on aromatherapy glass bottles? Well I fell in love with essential oils and most of the bottles I saw were plain glass. The idea came why not try painting my art on glass bottles.
Don’t know what to put inside? We have recipe cards for making your own perfume from essential oils. Some of the recipes are mine ( Arolyn) and some are my sister’s (Roanne Buden).
Yarn ~ There are crochet hat’s, bag’s and blankets available. Many blankets are baby/child size and some are lap/adult size.
There’s a children’s shelf with books, games and children’s aromatherapy stuffed Smelly Faces written, designed and created by my daughter Sarah Bodnar.
Flowers ~When you walk into the Shops at Riverton by the door there are bouquets and vases full of flowers created and waiting for you to take and fill your home with fragrance and beauty!
At the top of the stairs on the second floor, you will find all the other creations.
I hope you love Shops at Riverton as much as we do. We’re so grateful to be a part.

Hi thers my name is Lisa Einarsen, the owner of Creatively Blended. I have been crocheting for over 55 years. My Gramma began teaching me when I was about 8 years old. One of my most favorite people in the world, I would love sitting with Gramma and her showing me how to make Granny Squares. I also learned to knit but really never got into it. Crochet is a passion to me, I don't normally go a day without making something!
I grew up and currently live in East Hartland, CT. I have 4 children and 11 grands. I worked 35 years for an insurance corporation before retiring. I use profits from crocheting for my grands, enjoying seasonal camping, donating to fundraisers and helping where I can! Oh, and to buy yarn even if I don't have a plan for it lol!
Other places you can find my creations are Prospect Mountain (Granville, MA) camp store, Cooley & Co. (Granville, MA) and Inspired (Southwick, MA) You can also message me via my Facebook page

Hi, my name is Ed. Several years ago I tried to buy bird houses on line for my yard. None of them lasted more than a month or two so I decided to build my own. I love woodworking and thought it would be a relaxing hobby. Hence, “For The Birds Woodworking” was born. Our bird houses are made to last. Screws, not nails / marine grade polyurethane coating and never cheap plywood construction. There are many stock items in Riverton but I also do special orders for any theme you desire. Send me pictures of your house and I will make a copy of it “For The Birds” Check us out on Facebook to see some of the interesting builds so far.

I never thought I was creative, but I needed wood to warm the house. While helping a local clean up her yard, I met a gentleman who carved and turned wooden bowls. He inspired me and the crazy spoon madness began!
Hi, my name is Tracy and I am Full Moon Carving located on the third floor of the Shops at Riverton! I have been a wood carver for approximately 4 years carving primarily spoons of all shapes and sizes. All of the spoons that I create are hand carved using locally sourced wood. Self taught, I have fine tuned my designs through years of trial and error. Some of my pieces are more unique due to the pattern of the wood through growth, sometimes difficult to work with but beautiful when completed. I am usually around the Shops on the weekends so stop by and say hello - I would love to meet you!!

Age gives you certain privileges like showing your story and proudly displaying that you were loved with some scuffing, some dents and scratches.
Gracie’s vintage is a mom owned fledgling business that began with a life long love of vintage, curating and home decor. Vintage items create distinctive and special moments throughout a space. Gracie’s Vintage believes that the quality, the one of a kind feel and the environmental benefits of second hand are the winning combination for decorating a unique home irregardless of style.

Hello!
My name is Carol. I am born and raised in Connecticut. I am the mother of five wonderful boys, ages 21, 18, Twins, one who is autistic, that are seven, and my youngest is five years old. Ever since I was a young girl I have liked to make my own cards for people. I stopped for many years, however about three years ago I got inspired by seeing some things on Pinterest. I made a few "samples" and showed them to some coworkers and people loved them. I had coworkers coming to me for holiday cards, birthday cards, sympathy cards and anything else you can think of! Unfortunately, I had to leave that job and I haven't sold much since then. But, I'm giving it a go again and I'm also diving into some other craft ideas that I am very excited to display soon!! Now that I have been unemployed since January, it is my hope that I will gradually be able to grow my skills and inventory to create a legit small business to help me bring in some extra money for birthdays and holidays for my five boys. I look forward to creating happiness in others with my work!

Hi, I'm Lorraine Schrameck, owner of Silver Touch. My booth is on the first floor at the Shops at Riverton, and I specialize in sterling silver jewelry, and some small gift items.
I started Silver Touch in 1995 as a home-based business, while raising my 3 boys. In 1999, I opened my first brick and mortar location in Bethel, CT. I had the store for 20 years before closing in December of 2019, just before the pandemic hit.
My plan was to do craft fairs and vendor shows, and once things opened up again after COVID, that's when I got back into it.
I love sterling silver jewelry, and so do my customers! My goal has always been to offer fine quality jewelry at reasonable prices.

Hi,
My name is Melinda. I am the owner of Wynsum Conveyance, booth 18. Like many people, my mom and grandma collected Depression glass. My passion for glassware started with them; however, it grew beyond Depression glass to a variety of manufacturers, styles, and time periods. My booth has only a smattering of the glassware I possess. Please reach out if you are looking for a specific pattern or era in glassware. I may have what you’re looking for!
But booth 18 has much more than glassware! It is filled with odds and ends from my home and the homes of others. Also included in the booth are photographs taken by friend Kim and crafts I have created. There will always be something new at Wynsum Conveyance. As I strive to include new high-quality, beautiful, and fun merchandise each week.
Being part of the vendors at the Shops in Riverton has been a dream come true. Come visit and see why!
